Incremental calibration on the HBT1

The HBT1 can be calibrated in 1Hz increments over a range of 430-499Hz. Between this range, the vertical meter displays additional incremental information relating to the calibrated frequency of -50 to + 50, finer than the 1Hz incremental steps.

Currently we feel incremental steps of less than 1Hz unnecessary and align the HBt1 to standard instrument tuners offering the same. Variances in bagpipe pitch from blowing pressure, reed movement, moisture, instrument changes and performance restraints make tuning at 1Hz challenging, therefore any less than this being an overriding concern. Additionally, any detection variance of 0.5Hz will result in the tuner constantly processing and displaying a new frequency.

The HBT1 is designed to simulate analog and standard tuners whereby generically the incremental adjustment is 1Hz.
